First Day Of Fred’s Camp June, 1994

Our dad, Fred, has been a pioneer in the camping industry and fulfilled his life-long dream by opening up his own summer day camp in Lincoln Park in 1994. His ambition and love of children dates all the way back to his teen years at a residential camp and working at Deborah Boys' Club in the‘60s and 70s. He went on to direct a residential camp for children with disabilities in the 1970s, and then day camps in the suburbs and the city throughout the 80s. Alongside our mom Lynne, they proudly built camp the old-fashioned way, brick by brick. He thanks all of the amazing families he has met over the last 3 decades, as well the incredibly talented staff that have been a part of the Fred's Camp family. We are incredibly proud to carry on a tradition that is now entering year number 27. We have been with our mom and dad every step of the way. From a very young age our parents showed us what was possible when you set your sights on fulfilling a lifelong dream. We are incredibly honored to carry on the Fred's Camp tradition and look forward to having you as a part of our camp family. We can’t wait for next summer!

Campingly Yours,

Jodi and Mark
